2. Information We Collect

When you use DriverArmor, we collect:

• Business information: Company name, DOT number, MC number, business address
• Contact information: Name, email address, phone number
• FMCSA public data: Safety ratings, inspection history, violation records (sourced from public FMCSA databases)
• Payment information: Processed by Stripe. DriverArmor never sees or stores your full credit card number.
• Uploaded documents: Inspection reports, tickets, or photos you submit for analysis

3. How We Use Your Information

• Generate compliance reports and violation defense analysis
• Prepare DataQ challenge letters based on your inspection data
• Process payments via Stripe
• Send service-related communications (reports, alerts, support)
• Improve our AI analysis accuracy (using aggregated, anonymized patterns only)

4. AI and Machine Learning Disclosure

DriverArmor uses AI-powered analysis to generate compliance reports and defense recommendations. Your individual data is used solely to deliver your requested service. We do not use your personal business data to train external AI models. Aggregated, anonymized compliance patterns may be used to improve our analysis engine.

5. Information Sharing

We share your information only with:

• Stripe: For payment processing (governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy)
• FMCSA public databases: We query publicly available government records using your DOT/MC numbers

We do not sell your information. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not share your business data with other carriers or competitors.

6. Data Security

Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and stored on secured systems. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure. Access to customer data is limited to authorized personnel necessary for service delivery.

7. Data Retention

• Active customers: Data retained for duration of service relationship
• Compliance records: Retained 7 years after last service (consistent with DOT record-keeping requirements)
• Payment records: Retained per Stripe's policies and tax/accounting requirements
• After retention period: Data permanently deleted

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about your business
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information
• Deletion: Request deletion of your data (subject to retention requirements)
• Portability: Receive your data in a standard format

9. Cookies

DriverArmor uses only functional cookies necessary for service operation (session management, payment processing). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics that track individual users.

10. Children

DriverArmor services are designed for commercial motor carrier operators. Our services are not directed to anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 30 days before taking effect.
